We have created a highly specialist multidisciplinary team, each member brings their unique set of specialist skills to form an important part of the diagnostic process.
Charlotte is a paediatric Speech and Language Therapist with over 15 years’ experience. She was a lead Speech and Language Therapist working in a specialist  school in London for children with primary speech, language and communication impairments.
She assumed a number of leadership roles within different departments at the school. She gained her Early Years Professional status whilst managing the department as well as leading and supporting the multidisciplinary team to devise and deliver behaviour plans.
Charlotte has a specialist interest in Autism Spectrum Conditions, specifically in the treatment and development of strategies to enable children and young people to develop their social communication skills and self-awareness. She is able to administer a wide range of assessment measures, including the ADOS-2, which forms an important part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic assessment for autism.
Nicola is a qualified specialist teacher, with 20 years’ experience of working in SEN education. She specialises in working with children and young people with speech, language and communication needs, alongside co-occurring diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum, PDA, ADHD, SpLD (Dyslexia and Dyscalculia), motor and sensory needs. Nicola is especially passionate about providing child-centred support plans for children on the Autism Spectrum, ensuring that their holistic needs are met using a multi-disciplinary approach. To develop her skills in this area, she undertook a Masters Degree in Autism Spectrum. Nicola is experienced at working in both specialist and mainstream settings, working closely with families and individual pupils. She has held several leadership roles, including Deputy Head and worked with a wide range of professionals in order to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people on the Autism Spectrum.
Francesca is a Senior Clinical Psychologist who has worked in the NHS for over 8 years; currently leading specialist psychology teams at both The Evelina Children’s Hospital & St Bart Hospital, previously working at Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Maudsley Hospital & The Children’s Trust.
She has a long-standing interest in Autism Spectrum Conditions, having worked in the National Specialist Adult Autism and ADHD Service at the Maudsley Hospital (London) and Great Ormond Street Hospital National Centre of Autism; completing both specialist assessments and tailored therapeutic interventions for adults and young people with autism.
As a clinical psychologist, Francesca brings her wealth of experience in considering all aspects of young person’s profile, including behaviour, emotional wellbeing, learning needs, communication and relationships. She believes that this ensures that a holistic, personal and unique understanding of a young person’s strengths and struggles and reasons for these, in a way which can help a young person develop positive narratives about themselves and confidence in managing any areas of difficulty they may have.
